How do I install Hook Generator Pro?
Visit the Chrome Web Store, search for "Hook Generator Pro", and click "Add to Chrome". The extension will appear as an icon in your browser toolbar.
How many free hooks do I get?
Free users get 40 AI-generated hooks per week. The limit resets weekly. Upgrade to Pro for 1,000 hooks per week.
How does the text formatting work?
LinkedIn doesn't support native formatting, so we use special Unicode characters that display as bold, italic, etc. Select text on LinkedIn and use our floating toolbar or keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+B for bold, Ctrl+I for italic).
Note: Font style transformations (bold, italic, script, etc.) only work with English letters (A-Z) and numbers. For other languages like Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Arabic, underline and strikethrough formatting still work, but bold/italic styles are not available due to Unicode limitations.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Open the extension popup, click "Manage Subscription", and you'll be taken to the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel anytime. Your Pro benefits continue until the end of your billing period.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We only collect what's necessary (email, usage count) and never store your LinkedIn content. Topics you enter for hook generation are processed and immediately discarded. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
The extension isn't working. What should I do?
Try these steps: (1) Refresh the LinkedIn page, (2) Make sure you're signed in to the extension, (3) Check if the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions, (4) Try removing and reinstalling the extension. If issues persist, email us at [email protected].
Can I use the hooks for other platforms?
Absolutely! While our extension works on LinkedIn, you can copy and paste the generated hooks anywhere you like - Twitter/X, email newsletters, blog posts, etc.
